Rules For Day Trading And Stock Pick

There is one way to win in the financial world of day trading and stock pick. This goes for those who have been in the financial business for years or those just beginning.

There is one way to win at the stock market. This is to have a strategy, to have a fully developed strategy. You keep to your strategy and do not get emotionally involved with what is happening in the market.

Also you do not get too excited or overconfident if you earn a lot of money, because that can ruin your judgment and you can turn around and loose what you have just gained. Below are some strategies that some of the "big guys" follow in order to choose stocks.

One of the first rules in order for day trading and stock picking is to get organized. Develop a system, know what your plan is and follow that plan. This is often a major flaw in most unsuccessful trades. As stated above, do not get emotional and "bend the rules" because you find something a bit tempting and want to go with it because it feels good. The stock market is not the place to follow your intuition indiscriminately.

Another strategy to live by is to always cut your losses. Hanging in there for the long run is one of the major reasons people loose so much money at once. Don't bother getting co-dependant with a stock, these things are not people and you really can't talk them into changing. Once a looser, gone; should be your policy.

Check to see what the number of shares outstanding is, before trading. Although it may not seem important, however it really is. It is important and even very important because a company that is in business to make money would never waste its own money in order to buy its own stock. In addition it would only buy at the lowest price possible and then sell at the highest price possible. So if you go along with them, then you too will make money.

Realize that even in the stock market, history will repeat itself. One of the most important facts one should know about is that those on top, stay on top. So buy on top and your returns will stay on top. Buy only those stocks that are in the top ten in the Dow Jones Industrial Average (a list of the 30 top companies). Then after placing approximately the same amount of money in each, sit back and watch they grow. Check them occasionally to make sure they stay on top.

The last point in day trading and stock picking is to sell. This is not real estate and it is not a buyers market. The stock market is a market that is designed for sellers and sellers only. So buy and again don't hang on to losers. Pick a price that you think will be close enough to the top and then sell at that price and no higher. These are just a few methods for day trading.
